They would have just waited and did one not both.
Would make no sense to release a version then 2 weeks later release another version.

They would have simply consolidated the two since 1.8 would already include 1.7.2.

lets just wait and see instead of you constantly speculating, thinking that it has to come out on your logical time table

Has nothing to do with that.
Why would you waste the resources or go through the effort of releasing something that was an extremely minor update if you were going to release a full fledged release 2 weeks later?

Thank about what you are making yourself sound like thinking a business would do something like that.
There's a difference between speculation and business sense.

OS 1.8 is a big deal to them and they have to treat it as such, not just throw it out there because people want it.

You are really over thinking this.
We have been able to do this on 2 Korg keyboards, a couple of Korg Pad controllers (new key controller also), the Fantom to a certain degree, in LIVE etc.
Adding it to Maschine didn't really make some massive difference in what could be done.

It's useful in a certain context but the limitations hinder it far more than you may realize.
It's implemented without user control so all you get are their preset chords and scaling which can be pretty boring or redundant.

If you really think it's useful why not grab a Maschine or MIkro and run it inside the Ren?
It works fine that way but also give you the other advantages of having Maschine.
Your could also add a Korg controller and get more a more useful tool.

Not fact. Just your take. Once ANY chords are presented in a groove box or mpc, THAT in itself is game changing and innovative. Keyboards are not that DEEPLY intergrated with mpcs......Until maschine 2.2(wich comes free with the S61). Only people that have owned/slayed 4 or more real iconic mpcs and did all the keyboards/daws you mentioned like myself can throw blanket statements like you want to KNOW FACTS about.

It was HUGE depending on what kind of BEATS we making. No other mpc-wannabe does this. I own mach-five v3; also which does this, but its not deadly until its on a knob and intergrated with my daw(ren or maschine). You some kind of expert? Chill, we need to stick together and ask the people that USE THIS STUFF FOR REAL..... one of them....me.

some people can't point to the winner even if they described him from his jordans to his championship rings..... YOU ARE OVER THINKING THIS TOO.

say it with me...."and NEW heavywieght champion of the wooooooooorld....NI KK S61!"

nice

i do have a keyboard..
but i dont want to **** learn the chords/scales..that shit takes time.

and aint no body got time for that.

i like the option of just loading it up..pressing pads..changing banks..until i find something i like.

so no..im not over thinking.

everyone works differently. so it just depends on your style.

so i can download maschine software and use inside ren? hmmm

also no im not **** buying mascine..any time soon. i had to save up for months just to buy my ren.. now im saving up for turn tables and controler..which i hope i get this year..but chances are looking bleek ;(

Try to sell some beats to cover the cost of what you need or go out and rock some parties.

Also there's a limited set of Chords that they give access to, they should have made it like the M3 so you could assign your own.

The scale set chords are limited as you say to 1-3 ,1-5 , 1-3-5 , 1-4-5 , 1-3-5-7 ,1-4-5-7 progressions ,maybe they could add more progression
But if your in not set to a scale then there are more chord choices but then your stuck in one mode , I suppose that's where you need to know more music theroy so u Know which to use , so I suppose it would be good to have custom settings
I now a little theroy like minor ,major ,dim, Aug chords ,m7 how too work out major ,minor scale ,circle of fifths but that's all stuff I've read ,I didn't get to the chord progression but since I've had the keyboard I'm staring to understand that sort of ,until people started slating it lol
So say I got the c major scale set on the keyboard at 1-3-5 ,that's the numbers or degree of the keys/notes in the scale, the chords it gives u are c, dm, e, fm, g ,am, and b dim , now I know u have no sharps and flats in the scale , so I can swap them chords ,can I use chords with with sharps and flats like instead of dm use dmajor etc ,what's the rule there

I whilst I can string a few chords together ,single fingered chords are very helpful

If you set the keyboard to easy mode where only the White keys are used you can do your chord progressions pretty easy without switching chord on ,so you can play more than one progression at a time

No u misunderstood I was just sayin in easy mode you have the 7 white keys that's the whole scale then u can just do a normal triad 1-3-5 and switch to a 1-4-5 just by moving your Middle finger 1 key right , or add the seventh key for major minor 7 or do perfect 4th ,5th 1-4 1-5 , without having to switch chords on or turning the knob as u play
Just a little tip
