Is there a thread or video on opening 4000 file in the Ren, and what is lost / altered?

The best advice would be to get a Studio since it's cheap and try it out.
If you like the software you then have the option of keeping it with the 4k or getting a Ren.
The software experience will be the same with the Studio but the Ren offers a much better hardware experience.

yea..i think it went down to 699 last time..so shit..if it goes down even lower thats better.

so i really appreciate when people tell me try this..or its ok..could be better..or just straight up keeping and honestly and telling me "yo that shit is **** wack, **** trash" i like it all!
thats what this forum needs. more people working and helping each other out so we can all get better

Just Switched its much cleaner an nicer and the files move over plus easier editing.

I checked out about half the album, that shit is fire! I do not agree with whoever said the lyrics were lacking. From beats to lyrics and more importantly the SONG. You all did a great job. Well done.
Now its time to grind, go build up your fan base!
PS. Keep 4000 at least another year!

agree with me or die..
im not saying the lyrics are wack..they arent..maybe the delivery. or the mixing. but something sounds a bit off. other then that..shtis dope..ill still bump it..but this is just my opinion. and they can eithere agree or say "**** u..we like it this way" and do their own thing..which i agree with also.

So I guess I'll wait another year to see what happens and what changes in the world of AKAI. By that time I might be moving into a bigger house / bigger studio anyways.

Just start hammering it out with the Ren for now.... You can always slide your "sketches" to the MPC Software if you would like to add polish and finalize.
I too have my 4k still. And I'm not selling it. Why? Well, believe it or not it does have some interesting character in its sound. (compression) That's why I lay the groundwork in it, then move to the REN.
But that's my flow....some peepz here use all types of resampling tricks. This one is mine.
