AKAI said "blah blah send it back to us and we'll sort it out for you" but of course its difficult if im in a different country. i open her up and youll never believe what i find. AN UNPLUGGED CABLE. it wasn't even a friction cable...it was something someone had LEFT UNPLUGGED. AKAI need to sort their QC out pronto...never again.
on the other hand its no longer a paperweight.
