MPC 2.0 Upgrade Price

A DAW's/device's looks should be secondary; if it works well, it works.

Still, I like Live's minimal no-eye-candy look and dislike Maschine's candyraver style.

I know; mainly just referring to the colors used. All good. I've always also loved the old Akai gray look; just not a huge fan of wildly colored devices.

the look of the Jam looks toyish, but I wont dismiss its functionality, as it may be good.

However just because its functionality is good; that does not excuse the visual appearance being critiqued, and as stated it looks like a kids toy, to be clear.

Explain more on how it looks like a toy , is it the multi coloured pad , touch strips ?
It's pretty much in line with the rest of the maschine family
Does push /apc /launchpad etc look like a toy?

any thing with bright multi coloured pads has potential of looking toyish; I think MPC avoids this to some degree by having the colours around the edges; but I tend to pick only one or two colours.

Ya'll talking against the Jam will realize the hard way like I did finding features like the "Follow Pattern" feature from the MPC Software; but, ON THE PADS!! You....Bruh..... Boy shhhhtoooop! It's a wrap!


***By the way THAT is the PIANO ROLL on the pads which I also learned to input notes with variable lengths for long 808s or short kicks in step edit...EASILY tho.

I'm not overjoyed with the NI bright, colorful pads; being a Roger Linn/Bruce Forat design follower, but my Komplete software TIGHT! AAAND the Jam hardware features are RICH with updates........Where our 2.0? The MPC Touch screen is too small. The only way i'm coming back is if they put these togetherwith 2.0

yup the akai advanced look toyish with them multi colored lights; as does the jam look toyish and maschine studio also looked toyish.
