According to the twitter rep, more exporting file types are being added. I specifically asked about the 4000 and he said "Definitely". Hopefully by the time the software releases they will have support for exporting to all mpc types. Probably with restrictions based on the model.

you can export your project as an MPC 1000 / 2500 /500 or 5000 project.

now, if you have a Moog Modular V plugin playing a bassline, dont be surprised when it's not there :)
