Yes, this Magma XL looks like the Akai/UDG bag for the APC40, who fits the Ren, but a little bit too tigh to protect it very safely. You have to remove the protective scratches to insert the REN. But i can put also a 17'' Macbook pro in the separate part of the bag.

My Traktor Trolley UDG bag fits my Mpc Ren Perfect.

I'm sure you can request one without the Traktor logo. If not just remove the tags if that's your preference. You may can find them on eBay at a bargain.

I paid $99.00 when native dropped the price some months back.

I have used this bag to travel with my gear via Aircraft and it fits in overhead bin of the 747 air craft I flew in.

Front bag fits my Mac book pro, Akai LPK25, MBox, Beats by Dre
The small zipper pouches is on the front of the bag is where i stash my external hds,and usb and audio cables.

Dope bag. $99 was a steal. That bish is $250 now.

Go to amazon get the G-club-control-mixer case $65 worth every penny. Don't skimp on a $1200 machine. Plenty of room + laptop storage. Same bag MPC stuff sells for $100

I'm going to get the Gator Case and see how it works out. Have one for my MPC1000 one its lasted over 6 years.

Bout to buy a gator bag right now! theres 2 sizes 25" and 19" 25 seems too big! will the 19" work for the ren and maybe my laptop?? i dont want a oversized bag.

I like how mpcstuff tried to cover the word gator and overprice it LOL.

I'm looking for a bag/case for taking my MPC Ren to gigs and 8 times out of 10 I fly with Ryanair who seem to have the tightest cabin allowance requirements.

A quote from their site:

"Strictly one item of cabin baggage per passenger (excluding infants) weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm is permitted. (handbag, briefcase, laptop, shop purchases, camera etc.) must be carried in your 1 permitted piece of cabin baggage."

So I'm looking for a bag that will carry the following:

MPC Ren
17" laptop (not mac)
usb cables
1 external hard drive
headphones
4 jack cables
2 power supplies (mpc/laptop)
kindle
i phone charger
usb stick
change of clothes (t shirts/boxers/socks at the very least)
1 small bag of toiletries

It also has to be as lightweight as possible with the weight of the Ren & Laptop being close to 8kg alone I don't have much weight left to play with before I go over their limit of 10kg. (although I'm quite prepared to risk going to 11-12kg total weight if it's not realistic with the current setup)

Some of these cases listed so far look great but most fall short of my specific needs.

Any help is much appreciated as I need to get this right to make going to & from gigs as pain free as possible especially considering how unreasonable airlines can be.

The Magma Bags look cool but they suck... Mine fell apart in a couple of months. The seams started to separate.

Just put it in a grocery bag with a coupe italian bread rolls sticking out the top. Everyone will think you coming home from shopping.
