Could be a combination of both, i.e.,

1. MPC Software Update V1.5: Solid as rock so that your creative process Flows like water

2. Introducing The MPC Fly: With a formfactor that's Thinner than air

Just brainstorming/ guessing here. Got nothing else to do I suppose.

am i the only one that thinks, the bank VST is very limited?? like two real strings, no horns, almost no real orchestral and acoustic sounds....maybe that would also be part of whats coming...
i have high hopes, and by the way, i noticed when my mpc ren is connected to a usb 2.0 port there are almost no problems, while on a usb 3.0 a lot of problems, the most Obvious is that the software starts with stating my mpc isnt connected......
can anybody confirm this???
anyway i graduatly loving my mpc again, hope tomorrow its heavy love again

Whatever it is, it better be monumental. They're going slightly overboard with the hype... again.

"Lighter than air" suggests some kind of wireless protocol.

It will be 4 new controller cases for ipad like the fly... A turntable set up is one, a mixing board, a key board, a 4 pad drum....watch. If you think about it they have been doing lots of stuff with app based products.

I'm pretty much going with what you say on this.

On the other thread, you mentioned some new MPC Studio skins like air, water, earth, fire, etc... And that was even before the last two adverts came about.

I'm going to be bummed if that's what it turns out to be though. They need to work on what's already there.

They are based in Rhode Island so its likely on Eastern time. When they did all the new MPC hoopla last year it was at something lik 9pm pacific so thats midnight eastern.
