I too have my 4k still. And I'm not selling it. Why? Well, believe it or not it does have some interesting character in its sound. (compression) That's why I lay the groundwork in it, then move to the REN.

But that's my flow....some peepz here use all types of resampling tricks. This one is mine.

Dope! That's what I'd like to do. And you have no issues moving work from the 4000 to the Ren?

My partner has a 4000 and brings all his material to my Ren ALL the Time. No real issues. If any adjustments are needed it would be very minor. :)

Just to say nice album, I have a Studio and still craved for another 4000 after selling it 8-9 years ago (I bought a MV8800). The Studio has just about stemmed that craving and feature list is growing (albeit very slowly). If you love hardware then try and keep it, but you will be able to import your 4k projects in a basic format into Ren, but its not like for like so you'll need to re-work it to get it sounding exactly the same.

I have both, The 4k sounds better to my ears (comparing the analog outs of both machines).

Last I checked, when opening 4k project on my Ren, I had to reassign all my programs to their associated tracks. A real drag.

Keep in mind the filter are different between the two machines.

They're being deleted for a reason.
You've come up with 1,000 posts in quite short a time. How many of those posts actually contribute to something? 20?

Slow down with your meaningless posts.
Or, I suggest we ban this user for a month so he can think about what's actually worth saying.
