Why people complaining bout computer connection?

If you don't like what the MPC Ren brings to the table...I respectfully ask you to consider taking your b!tching somewhere else...perhaps to the JJ OS Forum where everyone lives in bliss. Whatever you decide...find something positive to talk about for a change.....your negativty towards me, Akai, and the new MPCs is certainly not contributing anything of value to this forum..IMHO.

Bak to op.. My complaints with computer connection are in context with a live situation.. As i feel nervous about bringing a computer live on stage .(i.e. a laptop) So I'm investing in a mac mini .. And gonna make something to house it for live use.. Atm it will purely be a playback system to run along side the mpc1000. Which i can control via mpc1000
With standalone mpcs, i'm pretty happy with the rigidness of them live on stage.. the only problem i have with mpcs is the gut limitations(ram limit and ability to playback long files)
Having long usb cables that can easily be pulled out if there are other people on stage moving around can jeopardise the show(or even if they are jumping around on a wonky stage can make the laptop fall off )
The mpc5000 does all i need almost... It's os is just a little to buggy.. I still use it and love it though. More than working with maschine,

if you're in the studio and never take it out then then there's no complaint from me..

I think the problem is people taking opinions as hate rather than opinions. Its a fine line. And how the fuk do you know someone's expressions from reading txt on a screen...

AKAI HOME OF ONE OF THE WORLDS GREATEST DRUM MACHINES .. 2 BAD WE DONT HAVE PROOF OF U EVER USIN ONE ... PS I DONT HATE THE REN AND I STILL MITE GET IM 90% THEIR .. I JUST WISHED IT COULD LOAD UP MPC PROGRAMS AND SOUNDS . THE ASR 10 COULD LOAD UP EPS 16 PLUS DISK .. SO I DONT SEE WHY THIS CANT .. AND MAYBE IT WILL DO THIS .. IDK ITS NOT OUT YET ..
