Welcome to the team. My push 2 will be delivered tomorrow. The new simpler with push v1 is already a fluid workflow. This is a dream come true. Listen to records, like that little piece and slice. It's a quick and dirty way of getting ideas out. I mean I will still use audition and melodyne editor to refine the sample, but now it's the ability to say is this loop worth flipping?
How much time have you spent flipping a loop then later on nothing comes into fruition?
Would like to know how push 2 is working for you. I almost bought it 2 days ago but held back. Part of me still wants it tho lol
So far so good. I have been a live user since 5.0 so that's my only bias. I subscribe to the beat junkies record pool and I was slicing break compilations with ease all without using the mouse. Will it replace any of my hardware samplers? Probably not. It's one hell of a sketch pad is all I know. If you look at the latest gear purchase thread you can clearly see that it's usually live with one piece of hardware synth/sampler to play along with.

The pads are a great improvement from push v1 and the display does not strain the eyes for extended periods of use. After relearning some basics on the new controller I don't really look at the screen when writing. I look at it in arrangement view as a way of checking my work though.
