So move on ...
We know this allready.
You 're constantly repeating yourself.

They just can't help themselves. Ones a troll and the other is simply a hater with nothing else to do. But they are needed in the forum for comic relief I guess. When you ignore them, they get even more upset. Look at Monsta. I post positive stuff about Akai and the MPC Ren just to pss them off.

Sorry Lamp. But eventually, they will grow tired and stop with the hate. This behavior has gone on with each new MPC release (see MPC 2500 and 5000). The hate mainly comes from MPC 1000 users/kids.

to be honest... there isn't that much hate towards the ren... it isn't out yet so nobody is actually hating it... yes, there are some stated preferences (some people wish it was standalone instead of a controller, yes some people are worried about updating their computers, some people are worried about latency) ... but that isn't hate.

What is actually happening is, people may leave a non-ball licking comment (since not everyone is caught up in corporate loyalty)... and right away we have the fundamentalist zealots jumping in yelling "HATE! HATER! HATING!.. any comment that isn't praising every move and decision akai has ever made or is making equals negative trolling with the goal of tarnishing the akai name"

Then that turns into an argument that lasts 5 pages till the thread is locked. You know what? there are two sides to every coin... some interested forum members want exactly what akai is proposing with the ren, others would prefer if the proposition was a bit different... and since akai claims to be taking feedback and suggestions and even advertised that fact ... they get comments of all sorts..

Some of the people who act like the holy akai army on a crusade against non believers are making the company and product look worse than these alleged "hater comments" to visitors outside the community, because anyone with common sense who is researching a new product can easily tell when someone is just being ignorant.. It takes two to tango, so all these "I dont wanna feed a troll" type posts contradict themselves just by existing... it's plain and obvious when those replies are made simply to continue the argument.

Seeing that I am here everyday and I actually read all the posts here.....I can say there is plenty of hate going on with the MPC Ren over the past few months; more than I have ever seen with any product on the market. There are several members that post all the time regarding how much they hate/dislike the MPC Ren and Akai. When you post the exact samething every day....and go as far to insult forum members that believe in this product....that is hate and trolling IMO. You can defend their behavior as much as you like....but it is what it is. And because of this behavior, we have less of a rapport with the folks that are developing this product that come here in their spare time to answer questions.

Those that have a preference for stand alone MPCs...get over it. The MPC Ren is not that product. Nothing you can say or write to Akai that will make them reverse course and do a stand alone MPC instead of the MPC Ren. Continually stating your preference in this regard does nothing but waste board space. If you want to show Akai that you prefer hardware...leave this forum and spend your days in the hardware MPC forum. Go out and buy yourself an MPC 5000, 1000, or 500. Talk about how great they are in their respective forums....not troll this one.

If you have problems with me calling out folks that are obviously trolling (dissing Akai, the MPC Ren and those of us that support the produc), get over it. If they can troll, I can certainly be on my crusade defending everything Akai MPC. In fact, I may lead a pilgrimage to the holy lands of Rhode Island and prey to the MPC Gods. If you dislike positive talk about the MPC Ren...you are certainly in the wrong place.

You are obviously being one-sided as I don't see an equally long post telling the trolls to stop trolling.

first of all, who the hell is talking about you or to you... if you have a huge problem with the people you accuse of hating... stop bumping every post they make and foe them. you are the one telling other to foe you... well practice what you preach.

You double the number of what you call hate posts single handedly and then complain about how much of it there is... that basically means 50% of the pollution in this section is caused by you... not including your own self written pollution.

the only sections lately to actually get polluted besides one thread I can think of ... are threads you post in (not including the grab assing in off topic) and half the time... it's you instigating it.

okay, then here it is.. stop trolling JAH.

You were talking at me and now getting emotional because I pointed out you are defending the individuals that have contributed very little positives to this forum. You can call me whatever you like but it changes nothing. Now you are polluting this thread...doing the samething you accuse me of doing.

So what's the point? Haters are going to keep on hating. Most of the time I ignore them and foe them to reduce the number of posts I have to read. But when the attacks turn from Akai to forum members, eventually this problem needs to be addressed as it isn't helpful. You encouraging them isn't helpful. The fact you are upset because I support Akai isn't helpful. I personally don't care what your purpose is here. If you are in support of the MPC Ren we can discuss that. If not, simply leave and go talk about the MPC 1000 in another part of the forum.

As far as instigating....I am only here to talk about the MPC Ren. Stay away from these types of products if you are offended by positive talk regarding Akai. Join a JJ OS cult. Do whatever you like. But if your only contribution to this section of the forum is discussing me...than

first of all, what do you mean by
"go talk about the MPC 1000 in another part of the forum."

??

I dont get the reference... or how you even thought of that.

I am only here to talk about the MPC Ren.

this is false, there would be no issue between you and others if that were the case..

Stay away from these types of products if you are offended by positive talk regarding Akai.

hey, as an owner of at least 4 akai samplers.. I have no quarrel with positive talk regarding akai... most of my posts here on the forums are helping new mpc users set up their machines so they can make music, or record their beats to the computer, or to help them figure out a compatible card reader... stuff like that.

the point I'm making is not about positive talk you are making towards the ren or akai... you complain about pollution, trolling, hating... yet you do it more than any other forum member in the ren section of the forum... this is not your personal litter box as much as you'd like to think it is because you plan on buying two rens...

But if your only contribution to this section of the forum is discussing me.

if you stopped trolling and polluting this section, bumping every post you consider hateful, and stopped your usual instigation... and I had something to do with it... that alone would be the biggest contribution this section has seen.
