LOL...don't tell me Numark called those turntables "1700s". Even swagger jacked the name of Technics 1200s.

Pretty sure "Captain Numark-Akai" would have told me they weren't trying to do so if those turntables dropped on the market today.

LMAO! You gotta resort to calling me weak ass names cuz your dumb illiterate ass don't know WTF you talking about and can't win a debate with facts! You're comparing Numark "stealing" a 3 year old design that was already borrowed from them, to them stealing 43 year old original design. **** clown! Your brain must hurt being as dumb as you are! :fku:

I said that AKAI is following the maschine's model. They overlooked the implementation Of audio tracks because that feature isn't in The Maschine. The model in which their following.

I Showed a clip where The Rennaisance stole The Maschine's way of implementing 808 XOX style step sequencing...you said that feature is in every MPC...which it's not.

Somebody else showed pictures of Numark swagger jacking Technic 1200s...you tried to refute it by showing a picture of other Technic 1200 copiers.

You're the only one thats a clown and don't know whg you're talking about.makinf yourself look like a idiot trying to defend **** "NUMARK!!!!" of all companies. Nobodies talking about the original AKAI. This is about Numark and Native Instruments. Numark has nothing to do with the develop of the MPC 3000, 60, 2000, 4000. Idiots.

You're just a typical chop shop YouTube producer.

1. OK! But again, this is a feature Akai has already used in prior MPC's. What does NI have to do with this not being in Ren? Akai stated from the beginning that audio tracks are in the plan, just not for 1.0. How does this make them Maschine biters or followers? This doesn't add up! Second, how can they be "following" something that's already followed them?

2. I didn't say every MPC has Maschine's "style" of step sequencing. I simply said MPC's have had step sequencing for years! How it was implemented is irrelevant. Akai implemented 4x4 pads over 20 years ago! I'm failing to see where NI is really anymore innovative than any other software developer?!

3. I didn't "refute" anything. I just pointed out that everyone stole that design! That was my exact words! NI and M-Audio both stole the Serato concept. Technic's and a bunch of other brands stole the cdj concept from Pioneer! So what?

4. What we are talking about here is 3 letters, MPC. I don't care about the brand or the owner of it. Who owns now it is irrelevant. What I am talking about is the product/product line itself. Has nothing to do with Numark. They still own the brand MPC, so all the original Maschines are in this, just as the new ones are. You can't discredit the fact the NI borrowed mad shit from all MPC's and then claim the new MPC's are biting Maschine because of 3 features!

5. OK! So what?! What does this have to do with anything?

Even technics gave up belt drive (SLB100) to make the 1200 which are direct drive TTs

That's wrong on too many levels too mention.

First the 1200 mk2(manual) is more akin to the sl-1800mk2(manual) . This where the platter design , continuous Q-lock , and high torque motor comes from
Second they didn't give up anything anything to make the 1200mk2. It's a progression that dates back to the original sl-1200 manual again closely related to the sl-1800. The dots originated from the sl-1100 with the elevated platter.
If you're going to drop history it should at least be accurate.

The slb100 was just a budget priced p-mount TT. BTW- P-mount only survived 3 years before tanking. The SL-1200mk2 was a broadcast grade commercial unit-part of their Professional Series along with the SP-10 and 25 Mk2. No comparison and hardly any relation. one had nothing to do with the other.

NO IM TALKING ABOUT COMPANIES....NI AND NUMARK.

How can you call somebody "dumb" when you lack the intellectual vigilance to get past the branding of a product.

I'm done with this though. It's clear as the sky is blue that Numark and The Rennaisance is a copying Native Instruments and The Maschine's model and implementations. To think otherwise is just plain foolish..and you know what they say about arguing with fools.

I mean Numark came in the game swagger jackin'. It's what they do.

My bad for this thread getting off topic, but really it shouldn't have been a debate. The swagger jackin' is obvious. This is a Numark product not AKAI and Numark products are shit. Why are we expecting The Rennaisance to be different?

there are too many baiters on here it's funny. what i mentioned was specifically relating to the design of the Numark TT-1700. that TT is a belt drive TT. the aesthetic design of it is from the Technics 1200 which is direct drive. so all i mentioned was the fact that even technic gave up the belt drive technology on the SLB100 in lieu of direct drive technology.

you are so blind and poised for debate that you couldn't see that I was agreeing with you that they were garbage.

I HIGHLY doubt that. The majority of genre's that use MPC's typically have more complex drum patterns, ie, Rock, HipHop, R&B, Reggae, Pop etc. Using a step sequencer for these types of beats would be more of a hinderance in most cases than just playing the patterns live in real time. Only those genre's like Techno/House/Trance or whatever the **** they are called that use those simple same one kick and one snare every 1/2 bar, and maybe some types of Pop, would benefit from using a step sequencer.

Secondly, you're not the only one that uses a step sequencer. I'm sure that if there already isn't a step sequencer you tube vid out there that makes everyone want to use step sequencers, then no video you could ever make would change that!

This post is hilarious.

I won't even try to convince you. The more people that's ignorant to what a step sequencer could REALLY do..ESPECIALLY the one on JJOSXL. The better.
