This is one aspect that has frustrated me with Maschine and 1.1 and 1.2 of the Ren coming from using Recycle. I found myself clicking on the waveform and nothing happening outside of auditioning a sample.

With 1.3, simply click on the waveform to insert slice markers. Click on the slice markers to remove them. It is super fast to manually chop this way.

Can you also add/remove from the hardware?

I'm not sure if this is an MPC issue! May be a limitation of the actual DAW. I know with Pro Tools, Pro Tools completely hi-jacks all midi out functionality!

Does this mean you can add remove slices from the hardware AND split and combine regions?
