Is it really not up to par? We can discuss specific alternatives and at the end of the conversation, I am sure the MPC Ren will be the go to product.

The 'frequent crashing' appears to be when you are closing the software. (This appears to have been addressed in the next update). But in actual use, I am not experiencing or seeing many reports about stability issues.

Call me crazy but closing on exit (so I'm done with the app for a while) may be a slight annoyance but shouldn't hinder my music creation. I still won't jump onto the software until end of the week but if its like most pc apps that I use often, I won't close it so much, buit just leave it running in the background at times
