My Fantom G extremly lacks what I think a sampling workstation should have. I based my excitement of the Kronos over some user reviews and hyped it up before I actually dug into it. When I did, I realized while it was better in some aspects of the Fantom G...it was still missing much needed sampling features for my needs...

Thus I immediately wrote this thread at the Kronos Forum:

If you are actually paying attention, notice that my feature list for the Kronos has numerous functions that most MPCs have to inlcude the MPC Software.

*Note that I only discuss products that I actually own or have owned.

I believe I stated my opinion. You will have to use them and form your own option.

The hardware is what makes the MPC Ren awesome and how it integrates with the software. I didn't buy an MPC expecting it to be Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, etc. If you buy it wanting that, you may be disappointed. But if you are an MPC user...I think its nutts not to give the Ren a try. There is not much a hardware MPC can do that the Ren can't. But there are quite a few things that the Ren can do that far exceeds what a hardware MPC can do. Ask any 'experienced' Ren/Studio user that has also been a long time MPC user. Again...I am talking the Ren being an MPC not Pro Tools.

Seriously, at this point what is the real reason why people are still in this particular REN room hating. Enough already. Same keyboard thugs writing negative post day after day. If you don't want THE REN don't F U C K IN buy it. STOP ACTING LIKE A B I T C H !!!!! :fku: Sounding just like a female complaining every chance you get about everything. :Sigh:

At this point I think moderators need to start banning those specifically in the REN room on here constantly spreading negativity. We all deal with individuals like that day-to-day in our own lives, no need to have to deal with it here, when folks is actually trying to get knowledge on a product.

Either that or make a room specifically for hating. Come to think of it that might be what some people need. I love to read people getting played when everyone knows that is what we are here for. :popcorn:

I guess what I would like to understand is what are you trying to get out of all of this? Like, what do you hope to achieve? Let's say, hypothetically speaking, it get's proven an irrefutable, scientific fact that the Ren does suck and is a total piece of shit - No dope shit can physically or mentally be made on it - There are no happy customers anywhere on the globe using it - It's just a total dud and there is somehow hard, scientific evidence to prove it. Where do you go from there? Where do you go in life from that point? :hmmm:
