it will take any data from previous MPC models. The files you make in the software are also backwards compatible

Nice...

Me: Will the vMPC read Akai rackmount series pgm's? Is it possible with the vMPC to make virtual midi connections to other software?
Yes and Yes.

Me: Is it possible to perform sample edits while the sequencer is in play?
Yes, that is possible.

Me: Can the vst version also host vst's? Can vMPC remain it's own main sequencer when used as a vst in a 3rd party host?
It sure can.

Me: Thanx 4 the info!

I gotta know. There are some things in my workflow that I have no desire to change.
Besides, when I first found out about the renaissance my mind just started generating question after question. I'll ask him some more 2marrow!

I'll keep checking for you and your answers as I'm highly interested in the MPC Studio. Thanks for the clarity.
