This is at the top of my list in terms of importance...
Question: Which machine do you hope the pads are most like? Can be past, present, Akai or non-Akai.
Ya'll will probably laugh, but I really like the pads on the XR20 as well as the old Trigger Finger from M-Audio. If they are anything like their MPD line or MPC 500 count me out for sure. I'm tired of upgrading pads to get them to work the way I want.

Sometimes I still laugh out loud about the beat kangz and that time some English dude hacked the Akai marketing website and stole a bunch of pictures of the Ren before it was released.
