Can the mpc ren load MPC 3000 format ?

I WANTED TO KNOW WHY THE MPC REN WONT BE ABLE TO LOAD MPC 3000 SAMPLES .. and other akai formats ?? why cant they team up with Chicken Systems Inc: ... http://www.chickensys.com/index.php and make this work . ?

Where are you getting this info? The specs say "Supports samples and sequences from any MPC ever made".

The ren isn't out yet.. so how do you know it wont load 3000 files when akai employees say it does (at the moment the akai employees are the only ones who have used the ren)

thx man .. i could of swore i aw a video that says it only loads from 2000xl any up .. but what if i load a mpc 2000xl sound .. in the mp ren .. will the mpc ren change the sound .. or what if i load a mpc 3000 sound . will the ad converters change the sound ?? all so it would be dope to have the ren load asr 10 samples / sp1200 samples ...

if it's "loading" .. keyword being "loading" .. converters wont have anything to do with it... correct me if im wrong.

The Ren will be able to change the sound depending on how you load the sample.

Record it through it's inputs and it will add the Ren's own sound, although I imagine it's converters despite having 3000 circuitry will be quite transparent.

If you load it into the Ren software directly then you'll be able to use the vintage mode emulations or whatever they're called aswell as any VST effects you have.

There's nothing stopping you if you have an SP or an ASR recording the outputs through the Ren to sequence the samples afterwards in the software domain.

Soooooooooo you're no longer mad that it's not standalone and you'll be purchasing one to sample from your 3000 into? Right on man.

NOPE IM NO LONGER MAD .. NO THX TO YOU THOE LOL .. thx to deejayhellfire and CYRUS LOL .. really im starting to like the ren more and more .. BUT IF IT CAN LOAD MPC 3000 FORMAT NOT SAMPLE I SAID LOAD !!! WITH OUT CHANGING THE SOUND IT LOADS FROM . REATHER ITS AN S950 MPC 3000 ECT I WILL PRE ODER IT .. NEXT MONTH ..
