1. To save. One click. Shutdown. Boot up. Load. Everything sounds the same. No saving multis, programs, seqvences, changed sounds etc.

2. No tracking. Just export. Everything in sync. No anoying MTC etc stuff.

3. The mouse! Editing keyboard chords, melodies etc will be heaven.

This'll be my first MPC, and that's what I'm mostly looking forward to.

I'm one of those guys who went from an old vinyl trance rave dj to a dubstep producer. I've loved my APC40 since I got it, and it's helped me control vst instruments, but an Ableton Performance Controller does not make music.. The Ren does.

With the integration to run the Ren software through Ableton, and it's VST instrument control, the Ren finally actually successfully will give me an instrument to play live electronic dance music on. I feel like I'll finally be able to make dance music live, and that's what I'm mostly looking forward to.

Finally, for the love of chopped and sequenced funk-ay beats and basslines, their will be an END to all this back and forth idle speculation, chit-chat, and backtalk, and we will all be getting down to the real nitty gritty, what we all wuz born to do:
saving the planet from SIR NOSE D'VOID of FUNK!

As always,
I remain,

1. The first real Music Production Center on a computer.

2.Getting all my Software sound modules and Plugins organized in one place.

3. Archiving

4. Placing FL Studio as a VST where it should be.

5. An endless amount of possibilities.

An mpc sequencer in the software domain.

Full access to a huge sample libraries on my HD.

A fully mapped mpc controller not only the mpc internal parameters but third party software too.

Of course tracking made easy within my daw of choice.

Using third party synths, konkakt sampler, and channel strips in my mpc.
