Actually NO it cannot, I'm
NOT referring to the basic midi controller mode of Maschine.I'm referring to Maschine as a working plugin vst/rtas, with TRANSPORT controls, ie: sending play rew/ff information via cc/midi clock or what have you in a DAW.
Again I'm not referring to Maschine as a simple midi controller, yet the plugin.
I want to clear that up. I've owned Maschine since day 1 and understand it's limitations. This is why I'm so persistent on finding out some real information regarding how the mpc ren Is going to work in a DAW.
I can probably safely say Maschine 2.0 will clear up some of my personal issues with it, like the one above. If the REN doesn't do this, I'd definitely pass on it.Though I'm thinking Akai could do it, as they understand midi clock ,as well as Mtc pretty well, as all of their mpc's in the past could.
So if anyone finds anymore information how the REN will act as a plugin, please post it.
Btw Drag n Drop Audio should also be allowed with the REN, Maschine handles this very well, and constantly bouncing down audio in a daw will get old, drag n drop is much more effective. Sorry for the comparisons, but if you don't get it by now, they are here to stay!
