Vintage mode as a plugin?

I might be imagining it but I'm sure on one of the videos someone mentioned the emulations will be available as fx plugins?

I can't see why this wouldn't be possible given it can be done in Maschine and Battery.

If Akai doesn't make this feature available as a plug in the Studio maybe this would be a good time for Waves or Izotope to come out with a simple emulation for the master fader.
