Akai Ren Sound library

I can't wait to get my Ren.I was wondering about the 6gb sound library because Akai hasn't really talked about it .NI gets high marks from many customers plus from my own first hand experience.Hoping that Akai talk more about that and if there gonna have libraries for purchase later on.

Well with the new 1.8 maschine update you will be able to save all 16 sounds with the program folder so it will be easy to import all the maschine kits to mpc if you like them

LOL right but I just find it strange that Akai is not talking much about the software and library .Yes it has great features,but if I'm gonna spend 1300 on a controler I wanna get my money worth.NI not only brags about the maschine,but also its sound library.

More renamed files from Loopmasters are on the way no doubt.

You will see much more than Loopmaster sounds......

Thanks Jah been checking their sounds out. They sound pretty good. I've even seen drum kits if they aren't available in the sound library I will purchase.

I think it was a good move on Numark's part to aquire a software company. Hopefully, it will translate to a great sound library and plugin instruments/effects optimized to work with the MPC Ren.

I hope so as well.

So the Ren must be stocked with these kind of sounds.

Im not listening to them on good speakers so I can't really evaluate them.

It seems a given with the acquisition of Sonivox. I have a number of their Reason Refills from when the company was called Sonic Reality. They have generally good quality stuff. Mostly bread and butter type sounds but definitely usable stuff.

Those demos sound decent considering they're mP3's and were good on my phones and monitors.

I did the same sounds pretty descent on my phone and threw my speakers.

But my question is it shipping with 6GB or 8 GB cause the website says 6 but Dan Gill said 8 at Namm

The safest bet is to go with what is advertised in most cases.

Edit - Akai website indicates 6+ Gigabytes.
