Before someone says Akai is biting NI with the tutorial vids

I know some of the mad people are gonna say "Akai bit NI yet again" with Young Guru doing the MPC University tutorial vids like Moby does with Maschine, let's not forget who started this! If you didn't know, get educated! 60 minutes worth!

Damn I didn't even realize that was moby til you said it. I don't understand people always trying to compare. Both great products. Maschine was the first hardware I used but I'll be damned if I'm not gonna check out the renaissance. Tutorial vids for mashine are part of the reason I got it so maybe this will do the same

I do not understand the comparison of the artist.At least NI has taste.

Well, I don't know about taste in artist, but I know I've never heard people walking around and dropping shit in the background of NI's videos like I notice with Akai's!

I've actually sat through and watched all of that video series including the s900 ones. After awhile it makes you wanna shoot yourself. (flashbacks of 80's clothing and style is nightmarish at times)

Damn! This vid has a dope ass screen shot 60, 3x s900 checking this classic out now.

On another note, Bout time Numark start treating the AKAI Brand with some respect. Let's see how long it lasts.

On a more serious note. This is what a lot, if not most, computer software related companies are doing now. Even Apple and Microsoft have done it for years. It gets the message across way faster and helps people see what's new in a few minutes. Sometimes seeing how something is implemented into a workflow is more potent than reading it as a specification, especially when it's breaking slightly from how it was setup traditionally. Nothing replaces actually using something though. Akai would have been stupid not to do this. NI didn't originate the concept of common sense.
