Be sure you have the MPC software running on your computer, the Ren plugged into (via usb) to your computer.

Start up computer
Turn on REN (it will just have a blue screen that says MPC
Start the software

At this point the screen should change to a working display (still blue)

If it does not then you have perhaps a hardware issue....

I'm experiencing the same issue myself.
I set my renaissance up for soundcheck and when I turned it on the screen on the unit flashed blue. I tried everything, reinstalling software etc. However I just get a flashing blue screen. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks in advance.

Can you post a video of your blue screen?

1. Disconnect the Ren's USB cable
2. Turn on the Ren

Describe what you see on the hardware controller.

Thanks

Looks like you a faulty unit. I can only guess if it is something electrical or perhaps issues with the firmware.

I would return it for a refund or exchange for a new unit.

Just wondering if it ever worked or it it has been doing this since initial use? Bought new or used? I guess I ask cause soon as I get my new anything, I gets used and tried out and if it does not work as intended, I go straight to the manufacturer's support line immediately.

GL with your Ren. I hope this resolved soon
