morning my fellow frustrated ren users...
im not one to dump complete sample folders in the mic. But i chop large samples and decide after that, i dont like how i chopped it or just dont like the sample like i thought. going threw deleting one sample chop at a time is a big pain. so its simple.
what i do is just create a save point before chop, or before i build a drum kit, or any large change. then if i dont like i just reload last save.
i also will resave with new name (ex. Trackname 1.0, and Trackname 1.2)
although doing it this way will double your samples saved in track folder. I can go back and delete versions i know i dont like (like def 1.2
)
not the best but it works for me and i can do this fast.
