Read But not Write

1.3 has been pretty successful in importing from the legacy machines but i would really
love to export back to my 4000 for example even if it's only in a limited capacity
so my question surely if it can read you should be able to write ?

I don't think backward compatibility is ever gonna happen. They want to tempt you to move from MPCxxxx to MPC Ren/Studio, not the other way round. Besides the Ren has way more parameters to deal with than hardware MPC's.

they have export to 1000/2500/5000
but spose these three replaced the old machines or they thought they did
