I was just wondering before I buy a MPC Renaissance "Can I use the MPC Renaissance as a audio interface within Pro Tools or any other DAW?"

I want to use my condenser microphone by using a MPC Renaissance, so this way I could use the MPC Renaissance as one-stop hardware for everything.

Oh no I was referring to setting my MPC Ren as my I/O with in Pro Tools, without using a Core Audio Device?

In Pro Tools, just click SETUP > PLAYBACK ENGINE. In the uppermost drop down menu select the Ren.

This works quite similar with other DAWs.

But beware: I have experienced pretty high latencies on the Ren compared to other interfaces. I'd suggest lowering the buffer size quite as far as possible to minimize latency.
