Mpc studio - External controller

Hi people,
I have a question: can i use or map specific function on a external controller?

I sow somme wideo about the studio and the work flow for chopping sample is not the best, but if a could map an external controll for only that use it would be simple...

Is that possibile?

I doubt that this is possible, at least you cant assign any MIDI CCs to things in the Software.

I've managed to map the pads on my MPC Ren, so I can trigger samples with my external controller... that was easy because they respond to midi notes. But I couldn't figure how can I map CC's, I'm not sure that it can be done.

Hi!

Yes. you first need to figure out witch notes do pads respond to... you can do that by opening any vst synth and playing it with the pads. Than you need to set your external controller pads to respond to same notes, connect it to your MPC and it should work.
