Factory Sequences that my MPC Ren came with

When I load the factory Sequences that my MPC Ren came with they seem to play but there's no sound. All I hear is the metronome. What am i doing wrong? Help please!

'Sounds' like you didn't load the factory programs.

Thanks for your reply man but what should I do? When I load the SXQ file I can see all the red bars in the main view but how come I can't hear it? Im able to hear all the other sounds that came with the REN just not the sxq files

I am not really sure if you are joking or serious. But:
1. Load '1980 808' sequence file and program file.
2. Press Play

That is it.

Thank you very much. This is my first MPC. I didn't know that I had to load both the .sxq file and the .xpm file. Thanks again for your patients. It working just fine for me now
