I've been thinking of pulling the trigger on a Ren but am afraid that I will be forced to use the computer mouse/keyboard to sequence on it vs using only the MPC Ren itself. I've got a 4k currently, and want to reduce the amount of work it takes to go from writing to tracking (inside Protools) and this seems like it might do just that.

What percentage of functionality can be done with only with the Ren hardware and not the computer?

thanks.

I posted information in the following thread:

No problem. The Ren is projected to have more functionality from the hardware among several other things so stay tuned.
