Musik Messe April 10-13: MPC Ren/Studio 1.4 in 1 month

Last year at Musik Messe 2012, we got a glimpse of the new MPC Ren:



1 year later...the Ren has now been on the market approx 8 months with 3 software updates.

Dan has confirmed 64 bit support in 1.4. Pete has shown screen shots of the zoom/scroll using Qlinks in Sample Edit Mode.

Hopefully Akai will show MPC users what they have been up to since the release of 1.3.......(word on the streets is that it contains several highly requested forum feature requests ).

Hopefully master bpm and a live mood .

I will send Pete roses and chocolates for Insert FXs in Sample Record Mode. It would be awesome to be able to sample through Internal and 3rd party effects.

This would be much better than the workaround of sampling a sound, assigning it to a pad, inserting effects in Program Edit Mode, then going into Sample Record Mode to resample it.......

anyone going there ? seems we got a lot of answers when the reps were

and it's because people made big fuss about it that's got done so we keep the pressure on and praise will come in the form of sales of their product, the more essential features that users from this board help to push through the more sales akai will generate.

it may seem negative to you Jah but giving people a hairdryer now and again can get them motivated

It's not so much the pressure that we feel from the forum as it is the desire to make the product as good as possible. The input we get here is very valuable, even when it gets heated sometimes.

I'm here a lot less... and thats probably because I'm making more music. 1.3 is fantastic for me.

1.4, as long as nothing I love gets messed up lol...will be gravy.

64bit? I really really hope so. Only thing that puts a downer on the whole Ren for me right now.
