that definitely makes sense - one possible work around could be basically making it so the QLinks will be assigned to whatever window is highlighted with the mouse (whichever window is in the foreground) Might be harder to code, i dont know... Reason works kinda like this i think.. with midi controllers and automapping the devices.. you can see everything at once, but only whatever is highlighted is what goes to your midi controller.
in workflow context, lets say you have a filter and an eq on track one and you want both windows open and visible - you could use one hand on the mouse to switch between the two and the other hand to adjust the qlinks.. you can already kinda do this, but strange that you cant at least view them both at the same time
i understand the QLink dilema - but does this seem do-able?
not that i really need this even, just thinkin about the OP's idea
Forum member #1: The Ren can manually add/delete slice markers using a mouse. Slices faster than MPC to date.![]()
Forum member #2: That function is absurd. Traditional MPC workflow dictates all functions must be accomplish from the hardware.![]()
Forum member #1: Shut the hell up you damn nerd!![]()
