Master Volume Knob Crackels / Stereo issue

I just have read that some guys have issues when turning the volume down.
They hear crackles and the stereo filed is broken.

How many of you have this issue ?

I do! Whats up with that? Not a big deal for me but it is annoying.

Me too. It sometimes crackles when i change the volume...

Thought this was an issue with my cables but it happens to me too. Appears to be just my right output.

same here - appears to be only in my right monitor. i called akai last week and the technician advised i return it to akai since it is still under warranty. i haven't checked to see if i can still hear it thru headphones? sounds like it might be a bad pot or something?

Last month the akai rep told me it was ME not this issue. Im showing them THIS THREAD.

He got heated too instead of fixing the issue we all have.

Im calling them now.

If they see that we prefer higher quality, they might like react to some day.

I have same problem, I have returned 4 Ren's back to retailer and it sounds like I might be sending back another one now.

Funny thing is pot only crackles if audio is being passed thru it weird!!!!!
