Is there anyway when a recording a sequence to make notes sn

Anyone know please if there's a way of getting notes on the grid to snap right up to the next played note on the sequence, I know you can probably do it with 'one shot' enabled but I'm wondering if there's any way of doing it with 'note on' by editing the sequence itself?

Which machine are you using? The 4k has a setting for note duration. I'm guessing if you crank that up and put whatevers on that track in the same mute group, it would do the trick. Maybe your machine has something similar.

I'm using the Ren.

I've discovered that if you grab the back of the note on the grid it seems to snap to the next point on the grid which seems to be working so far.

In Logic it's a key command [ force legato ] that automatically fills the space for every note, be good to have that on the MPC.
