How do you make the pads on the MPC studio cut off from sample to sample?

Enter Program Edit Mode:
1. Master Mode: Mono/Poly
2. Pad Play Mode - Mono/Poly
3. Mute Target
4. Mute Group

These paramaters are used to acheived your desired function. The Studio's Reference manual goes into details.
