Hi all :), i got an Mpc Ren since date of release here in europe.
It's working fine and bugs doesn't disturbing me so much when i'm on workflow.

But i use the akai as audio interface for win8 64bit for listen music, games, film etc, and sometimes audio disappears and i have to shut down the Ren and restart it to back to normal.
This appens when i set 'Akai MPC Renaissance Audio' or 'Realtek High definition Audio' (propely set by Ren setting), on idle or load cpu process.
I see this issue on different motherboard and i can't find anything on internet.

Anyone with this issue or using Ren as i do without problem?
Thanks for replace and sorry for bad english.

I use it to listen to CDs and MP3 even youtube on my monitors (Erkk compression ^^ ) and never had a problem with the WDM drivers.

Maybe if you didn't, turn off "Usb sleep mode" in the Energy saving options from the Windows control panel.

Hope it will solve your problem ! :)

Yes, set any Windows DAW computer to "High Performance" mode in control panel and disable any sleep modes or power suspending on the USB ports.

On a Windows computer with a USB, Firewire or PCI/e audio interface you want to disable the on board motherboard sound, in this case the Realtek HD. It prevents conflicts that usually result in no sound.

Device Manager/Sounds, video and game controllers/Realtek HD Audio/Right Click, "Disable".

If the Ren's ASIO driver is multi client (most are) you should be able to play two audio streams at once. But turn off one before launching a third app that needs audio.

I've had all my Windows computers work this way for years as long as I disable the on board sound.
