I just found out how to use the ren with reason...
Well it works with 2 soundcard
In my case the Mpc ren audio card and my rme multiface.
I ve started reason which works with the Asio rme driver..I created a audio track.
Then I ve started the Mpc ren software which works with the Asio akai Mpc ren driver.
The I've connected the ren digital outs with the digital in of the rme card...
The other outs should work also.
Now back to reason.
If I choose (in my case the digital in) the digital in I can (monitor)the Mpc ren ...
Now I can make beats on the ren in reason...
Reason only allow 2 audio ins @ the same time.
So the best option is just monitor in reason an when you are ready just render all Mpc tracks inside the ren and import then into audio tracks.
Now I can make beats on the ren and record diva into reason...this opens new doors..
I haven t work out how to sync each other...
as soon as I come back Home i m gonna try out a few options...
.
Well one idea is use the Mpc midi ports in reason to control the reason synths in the Mpc via midi...
Any ideas / suggestions would be greate. !!!!
