I cannot figure out how to

1. go backwards once inside a folder when browsing for programs on the studio hardware

2. Can you load the program and play it from the pads without going in and out of browser mode? that is a pain

3. can you audition a program?

Thanks

1. There are arrows on Your hardware, use the left arrow...
2. Drag n drop program To pads
3. ??? If u loaded a sample and chop It You can audition, look at the lcd screen

Thanks but Im trying to do this all from the hardware, no drag and drop.
Not the chop function either just audition a program that I have saved already OR load the program to and be able to play it after I load without going back in and out of the browser?

I will tell you that thr MPC Ren/Studio is way more dependent on the computer screen than Maschine or my desire is. I want to use my awesome Studio hardware, and NOT my computer monitor!
You are correct, it is a PITA to browse patches via the hardware.

1.4 should do the trick for you....

Yeah I saw they're fixing it so you don't have to use the q-links for everything in program mode. Hopefully they'll also make it so you can adjust the pad you hit instead of the old scrolling to the pad icon method it's at now. Would increase workflow like crazy. Seems obvious because that's how every MPC does it.
