I'm working on some drums at the moment, and when I press the note repeat button, I hear two pads being triggered at a very light velocity. These hits become recorded MIDI without even touching any pads. Any idea of what's going on here? :hmmm: :WTF:

Do the pads retrigger continuously when you hold down note repeat?

If so, you may have some bad pad sensors
One way to check if its the hardware would be to lock note repeat and then change pad banks to see if it triggers higher and lower notes. If it does you may have some pads that are stuck or bad sensors.

I restarted the MPC and the software, and it's not doing it anymore... Strange. If it does it again, I'll test it out. But I'm assuming it's software related since it isn't doing it now.

That's great news, software problems are more easily fixed :)
