Installation Question

I just got my Ren yesterday and was installing the factory content. Everything seems to be there, but I was wondering where on my computer could i find where the files are? I don't know if all the files are there so if i could see how much space it was taking up i'd know if they were all there. Also the bank says that its supposed to be 7 GB worth of sounds but on my harddrive it only says 1.35 GB. Did I do something wrong? Any replies would be great.

If your on a mac then I believe the files are here... HD>Documents>Mpc

Yea thats the crazy thing theres nothing in that folder. I have all the sounds, at least i think i do but nothing is in that folder.

Not a Ren user, but generally OS X doubles up a lot of the folder structures. So check in the OS X file listing but also the ones in your user folder. If it's in neither I'm not sure where you'd find it. But HD/User/Documents might be a place to look. (that's off top, I'm booted in Windows ATM) But when I can't find installed data It's usually I'm in the wrong version of documents or library folders.

When you load up sounds/kits is there option to hit browse to check the path ?

On my computer, the factory content is in

Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Akai > MPC

TBH, I can't remember if that's the default place or if I put it there myself, as I did have problems installing it.

Found it, thakns for the responses everyone. I think i'll just stick to the drum kits I made myself. lol
