is it possible to use a akai max25 or any akai keyboard with the mpc studio? if so, what is the setup?

Connect the Keyboard to the Ren's USB or MIDI DIN ports (or your computers USB port). Then ensure the port you connected the keyboard is active in the MPC Software MIDI preferences.

There are limitations to what you can do with the controller. Not all of the MPC software can be mapped to external controllers.

is that the same for a mpc studio? i dont have the renaissance. also, how do you setup other vst plugins with the mpc studio?

You'll just need to setup your studio and max25 and plug both into USB ports on your computer.

Then select the Max25 in the MPC software preferences menu as a MIDI "Input" (check the box next to the Max25 listings).


Then any track you have selected on the Studio will also be able to be played from the Max25.

can i also use the max25 sounds included in the keyboard as well? and what is the setup to use other vst plugins with the mpc studio?
