1.4 Locking up not crashing though

I've been experiencing a few lock ups where the MPC software wont respond for a minute or so sometimes. I'm having troubles figuring out what exactly causes it.

I know at least one time has been loading a VST effect plugin while the audio was playing. I have a feeling that it's not playing nice with one of my FX plugins. I'm really thinking it's one of the D16 Silverline plugins. They are acting fairly glitchy. I'm not able to open the expanded preset browser on the plugins (D16) anymore. I open it, then close the plugin GUI and reopen before it shows up. I have yet to try the AU version but I'm going to.

I've also had an occasional lagging playback when I'm in the Multiple Tracks view (Shift Main). The cursor GUI doesn't move smoothly it jumps for a while. When it comes back from one the above state freezes the pads start play back really fast and it glitches while looping.

I will try to see if I can find a more specific reason why these things are happening but I wanted to see if anybody else experienced this.

Make sure it's not the autosave function. When mine automatically saves the system buttons go inactive while saving. depending on the size of your save data this may be your problem. just a thought...

Autosave was my first thought, but the fact that it locks up for a whole minute tells me it's not auto save. Try removing the plugin.

Do you have multiple harddrives attached to or in your computer.

My ren is going to not respond once it like to access a sleeping harddrive.
