Help: How to assign a pre-arranged loop into 1 pad

I'm using a vst (native instruments massive) and I drew out the notes I want it to play within an 8 count bar (not important).

The VST is opened on Track 2 as a "plugin"

How can I assign this chain of notes to play with a trigger of 1 pad?
In other words, how do I assign this to a single pad?

Do I have to save the notes as a mp3/wav/flac and then load it on my pad as a sound sample?

Or is there a way to do it as:
Track 2 - Type: Drum

And load the vst's notes onto a pad i want?

yes.

just solo the plugin track go to sample record change the input to resample then crop it and assign it to a drum programme
