I tried it when the ren first came out, it didn't really work. I'm not sure if they've fixed any of those bugs or not with the updates.

I have a feeling that the beats made on a 60 will not have quite the same feel. The CPU on a 60 from the late 80's/early 90's is not as fast as an iPhone let alone a computer these days.
If the ren takes the audio and reads the midi data (esp quantized) it will most likely sound stiff in comparison.

I'm not sure about the 60, but assuming that it's supposed to read all legacy files it should work. It works on the 3000 & 2000xl since the update, but I have to say it doesn't have the same feel due to the difference in parameters. Everything I did to beef up the beats have to pretty much be re-done after some serious parameter tweaking. Sounded thinner at first, but I was able to get em back to original quality after some tweaking. However all mute offs, note variation/velocity and sample trims automatically load up.
