AAX Pro Tools plugin format?

Has anyone heard or seen anything anywhere concerning the MPC software and PT 11's new standard AAX plugin format? Just wondering if usage in or with PT 11 is possible?

AKAI, we need AAX PLUG IN FORMAT!!!

Since I moved to PT 11. I now have to run in standalone mode and Sync thru MIDI. Not a big deal but really would like to be able to do virtual bussing straight into PT versus exporting stems and reimporting.

Good that sync is working for you. Doesn't work at all here.

Yeah, It works thru MMC and MTC. Running windows on this setup though.

Seems more stable this way as well. Just can't run the virtual stems back into PT, so you have to export and import it back into PT once you have everything arranged.

New Maschine 2.0 can do AAX I think. So Akai should really step up!

Yep, there's a bunch of us that would like this functionality for all DAWs. Hoping we see it in 1.6. If we do, it will uncripple workflow in a DAW.
