Hearing "pops" after installing and using plugin

I'm new to this whole VST plugin thing so bare with me my friends....

Installed a few new plugins by Wahnsyn and everything is fine other than these " pop " noises

I have to turn the sample rate in preferences way up for them to go away....

can I leave the rate up or will that distort the other plugins?

What causes these "pops"?

Ok, I might have found the culprit, I was using my laptop and the battery was low, I forgot to plug it back in.

Once I did the pops stopped.

I did put the sample rate back to default though, so it's one of the two

Maybe the Ren needs to be running full power

I also suggest you turn off your computers Wi-Fi card, while using Ren. I had similar issues while I was using a laptop (Ren software version 1.2 if I remember correctly), and clearly the Wi-Fi was causing the issues.
