Hi people!
Just want to hear some thoughts and other experiences. So I am a big MPC guy and love the Ren and I love the Virus TI, so my issue when i patched the Virus as a plug in as (VC) to the Akai MPC Ren (as standalone) and yes I get there is latency issues - but thats not the issue for the moment, my problem is that when i set up the virus plugin (VC) with a couple of patches/sounds and make a PRG or a beat or whatever and then save the project and reopen it. The (VC) memory does not save with the MPC project! Its blank! Real pain the ass! I have to either re-patch everything again. Which i don't bother doing because cant remember what i done! And I know some people may suggest that i should run the Virus as actual unit via midi through the Ren and use it as synth and record it, but I did not buy the Akai Ren for this, I would of kept my older machines for that - I bought the Ren so I could route it all internally.
So anybody have similar experiences like this at all? Its doing my head in, I do realize the Akai MPC software is still in its early stages and will not be up to speed as yet but i swear in an earlier version of Akai MPC software I didn't have this problem only since 1.3.1 and 1.4? Am I missing something?!
