32/64 bit after update (reminder)

couldn't find some of my plugins after update and hellfire reminded me to check that i was opening in 32 bit mode still - after update it was back at 64 bit.. just a reminder if you get confused!!! i hadnt thought of that in awhile

My plugins wont show on the mpc,
when i select plugin it says none
I have done the plugin scan through the preferences menu,
and it says all the wub, bank and the other plugins are there,
but they won't show on the software when selecting plugin...

anybody any ideas .?
And how you change the opening of 32 bit mode.?

On Mac, go to the applications folder, highlight the MPC icon and press cmd+I to bring up the app info. Check the open in 32 bit box. On PC, there is 32 bit icon in the start menu.

This reminds me, 32 bit on version 1.4 was quite unreliable for me and would crash 75% of the time I tried to use it. Now with 1.5 looking very stable I might try the 32 bit version again to see how it responds.

...The funny thing is, mine was actually working and saving fine (64 bit) when i had version 1.4 now after the 1.5 os / 1.1 firmware update, it stops responding after i click exit /close. I've tried running both versions as well as running in all variations of compatibility mode. I tried it all. Both now stop responding...

Ok. I've loaded up the 32 bit version this morning and rescanned plug ins and a whole bunch of new plug ins has shown up, that wouldn't show before are now seen by the MPC. There are no new plug ins in the 64 bit version (after scanning) but that is down to my other plug ins not having 64 bit versions yet.

And so far 32 bit version is quite stable.

I've loaded up a bunch of drum hits and Reaktor. Put the hits through a series of Reaktor effects and compressed it with some Abbey Road plug ins and so far no crashes and mishaps.

The one plug in that still causes issues is the 'Big Blue Compressor' by 112db. Still, I have a bunch of other great compressors in vst land so finding an adequate replacement is not an issue.

I've post this in the 1.5 bug report but I'll also put here as it's happened today with the 32 bit version.

Loading large sample libraries, in this case 200 sounds upwards of drum hits, can cause the software to crash or just shut itself down.

I've had this happened 3 times so far, twice in the 64 bit version and once in 32 bit version (which I'm road testing today)
