When money is on the line, and Akai is backing you, putting you on their videos, there's no such thing as "polite". This is business. If he has an exclusive agreement with Akai, I agree Tutor, he's gonna have to do some explaining. Heck even if he doesn't have an exclusive...

Y.G. appears to be chilling with his homies 9th Wonder, S1, Focus and others producers. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be posted up in front of the huge Maschine banner if he was under contract with Akai.

Well, even if he was under a contract with Akai, he might be allowed to go and check it out just for fun.
Personally, I, for one, am interested in Maschine Studio out of curiosity even though I love my Ableton+Push as well as MPC Ren/Studio, and I'd definitely go to an event like that if I had the chance.

However, getting on that pic is a deliberate choice, and it's not like they'd force a grown man into a pic. He easily could've said no to that, so my guess would be he's free to do whatever he likes.

Is any of this relevant in any way to us? No. Haha.
