If I wanted to use da Ren. w/a workstation KB(old school style)...SEQ all w/da Ren. Is it possible to do this(I forgot b/c it's been a while since I've had hardware). MIDI the Ren. w/a Korg Krome & do this---> SEQ w/da Ren.(internal MPC sounds/smplz) & seq. Korg Krome sounds into da MP's SEQ, BUT also use da Krome as a usb-midi controller to control VSTi's??? I remember how to midi the two up, but if I'm using VST's too then when I turn it to plugin & play da Krome's keys won't the VST & Krome patch play @ da same time? I want to sequence da korg krome's sound & VST sounds into da Ren's SEQ while also using da krome as a kb controller. Feel me??? How is that done again..if possible?

THANKS!!!!!

Basically I want to play vsts w/da krome & play krome sounds into da MP w/out them overlapping each-other...meaning: Trk 1 is krome piano(midi) Trk 2 is Kontakt strings(plugin) etc...Krome is master KB controller & sound source, but when I play a vst i don't want krome sounds to trigger & vice versa w/plugins.

You would normally turn local MIDI off on the keyboard, to disconnect the internal sound engine from the keyboard.

Then the keyboard is used as a MIDI controller, sending MIDI data out and into the MPC, and the internal keyboard sound engine is used as an external sound module for the MPC, receiving MIDI data from the MPC.

You would then look into setting up the internal keyboard sound engine in some sort of 'performance' mode, where you can setup a different patch for each of the 16 MIDI channels, and then play up to 16 different internal keyboard sounds from the MPC.
